The USF Rugby Club respectfully requests your support. We have been established since 1970 and compete in an emerging sport in the United States. Since inception, we have been a member of the Florida Rugby Union, and governed nationally by the USA Rugby Football Union (USARFU).

We compete nationally against other colleges, and are actually competing for a National Championship this year. Being that we are a ‘club’ sport, we are not associated with USF’s Athletic Department, and receive minor support through the college’s Activities and Services (A&S) fees.

90% of our $10,000 annual budget is raised through our own efforts. We travel, pay dues, buy and launder uniforms, prepare fields, etc. Our coaches work voluntarily, and the student-players attend school, train, work, and administrate the club without scholarships.

Fortunately, through the Student Government Association (SGA), we can accept Tax-Deductible contributions. Click Here to help us by mailing in a contribution. You will promptly receive a letter from the SGA for tax purposes.
